Praktik is transitioning to an agent platform. The agent can now handle multi-step tasks, not just answering questions. Along with this, we are moving to credit-based billing according to actual usage and launching Praktik academy, a series of practical videos on working with AI in legal practice.
## What's New in Praktik 2.0?
Previously, you had to assign every step to the agent separately: explain the context, attach the documents, tell it what to do next. For shorter tasks, this worked, but for multi-step legal work (research, comparing documents, preparing an output), it meant a lot of manual guidance.
The agent now first prepares a plan and works according to it. During the process, you can see what it is doing, and you can guide it at any time. The decision on the result remains with you, but you no longer have to manually guide the entire process.
You can also select a model based on the complexity of the task: smaller and faster for simple processing, more powerful for extensive analysis.
The basis of work is the **project**, a place where the agent maintains the context of the client, case, or task: related chats, documents, and tables in one place. You input your organization's information, rules, and terminology once, and the agent knows them for every subsequent work in the project.
We have also improved document work (Contract Review, Legal Audit). **The agent automatically has access to all files in the project** and can work with them throughout the entire task: sorting a folder of contracts and scans, extracting data, creating a table, filling out a template.

We are therefore moving to credits. We set the prices and amount of credits to cover typical usage. Approximately 90% of today's subscribers will not need to change their way of using Praktik. We are removing limits on document uploads and making a selection of models available.
If you run out of credits in a given month, you can purchase more. Purchased credits do not expire. They are used only after the subscription credits are depleted. In a quieter month, you remain at standard usage; for a larger project, you simply add capacity without changing the entire plan.

Knowing that AI can do something is not enough. It is important to know what exactly to prompt it with, when to check the results, and how to integrate it into daily work. Without this context, AI remains just another application that you open once in a while and quickly forget about.
That is why we are preparing Praktik academy, a series of short instructional videos based on specific work tasks, not general functions. Each video starts from a real-life situation solved by lawyers, in-house teams, or independent lawyers, and shows the exact process from prompting to result. The videos are freely available and build on each other; you can also view only the block related to your work.

The first block is about working with documents more efficiently instead of manually going through them one by one. We will show how the agent reads and organizes large batches of files, for example, a folder of contracts from a client with vaguely named attachments. You will learn how to prompt it to create a clear structure, fill in data into a template, and adjust the output exactly according to your firm's internal style. The block also includes working directly in Word, including tracking changes and verifying citations.
### What will you learn in the second agent block?
The second block is dedicated to agents, which is the biggest change in Praktik 2.0. We will show how to use, modify, and create skills so that the agent consistently follows your organization's procedures, and how to manage its context during long work sessions. Using practical examples, we will compare extensive PDF documents, process data from Word and Excel into an interactive visualization, and for a complex task, we will first check the plan, and only then let the agent revise the contract with tracked changes.

The third block is about the broader use of AI in daily practice, outside of the classic chat. We will show how to create clear tables and graphs from source material, how to work on a task in a team so that everyone sees the same context, and how to track your own costs for credit consumption. The last topic is deep research, which is the way to assign the agent a more extensive research task and receive a structured overview instead of dozens of separate answers.
