# Notifications from Praktik agents: by email and in the app

> We’re working on agent notifications. If Praktik finds a problem while reviewing a contract or needs clarification, it will be able to let you know by email or in the app.

The contract says payment is due in 14 days; the appendix says 30. You asked Praktik to compare the documents, but you have already moved on to other work. It would help to hear about a discrepancy like this outside the chat, too.

We’re working on a way for an agent to send you an email or a notification directly in Praktik. The agent decides whether a finding warrants a notification and which of these two channels to use.

## When you need to know about a result

If the agent finds a discrepancy while comparing documents, it can let you know. The message briefly explains what it found, and you can read the detailed analysis in the conversation.

This can also help when preparing a document. If information differs between the supporting documents and you need to decide which version is correct, the agent can ask for clarification through a notification. You will know what it needs from you to continue.

A notification always relates to work on the task you assigned. This feature does not itself schedule reminders, continuously monitor documents or detect new events outside Praktik.

## Email or the notification bell in the app

The email will use Praktik’s email design and contain a notification title and a short message. A button in the email opens the chat where the agent worked on the task.

In the app, you will find the notification under the bell icon. It stays there so you can return to it later.

Each channel will have its own agent notification setting. Both are on by default, but you can turn each off separately. If you only want notifications under the bell icon, simply turn off emails.

Enabling notifications does not mean receiving a message for every answer. The agent uses them when there is a reason to do so during a task.

## Who receives the notification

If you give the instruction, the notification is intended for you. The agent does not choose the recipient and cannot use this feature to email clients or colleagues. In a shared chat, the chat owner or all participants do not automatically receive it.

For a scheduled task, the recipient is the schedule owner. Before delivery, Praktik checks again that the recipient still has access to the chat and the relevant project.

## What else to know

The feature is still in preparation. Even if notifications are turned on in your settings, sending them depends on whether the feature has been enabled for your account.

When an agent records a notification request, that does not yet confirm delivery. The system retries failed attempts and limits duplicate messages, but immediate delivery is not guaranteed.
