Praktik was founded in 2024 from a simple observation.
Lawyers do not spend most of their day analyzing. They spend it searching, verifying, and connecting information across laws, decisions, and documents.
For years that was acceptable work for people. Not for AI. Generative models made up answers instead of finding them in the source. In law, that is unacceptable.
That was the gap worth closing. Not another chatbot, but a tool that searches official Slovak and Czech legal sources and returns an answer with a citation to the exact provision.
Today Praktik searches Slov-Lex, decisions of Slovak courts, and Czech sources including the Supreme and Constitutional Courts. We believe the best legal AI is not the one that knows the most. It is the one that cites its sources.
