Lesson 4 · Word and Tabular Review

Tabular document review

How to extract the same data from tens or hundreds of documents, verify it against the source, and export the results.

Tabular Review processes a larger set of documents using the same questions. Each row represents one document, while each column represents information you want to extract or verify, such as a contracting party, term, or automatic renewal.

For each column, define both the question and the required answer format. For example, you can limit answers to “fixed term,” “indefinite term,” and “unknown.” The results remain consistent and easy to filter and compare.

Every answer includes an explanation and links to the relevant passage in the original document, making it quick to verify. You can then export the completed table to Excel or save it as a template for repeated reviews of future documents.
