  2. As you draft, use Legal Research in the sidebar to look up specific provisions without leaving the document
  3. Use Clause Review to verify that provisions you’re referencing are current and haven’t been amended
  4. Use Drafting Assistance to generate alternative clause language or help formulate precise legal wording
  5. Look up counterparty or entity details in the business register directly from the sidebar
  6. Use Document Formatting to ensure consistent structure

How Different Roles Use This

Law Firms: You’re drafting an SPA for an M&A transaction. As you write each representation and warranty, you verify the referenced legislation in the sidebar and use Drafting Assistance for standard commercial language.

Independent Lawyers: You’re writing a legal opinion on employment termination for a client. You research the relevant provisions in Chat first, then draft in Word — verifying each cited section as you write.

In-House Counsel: A legislative amendment requires updating your company’s internal policy. You open the policy in Word, research the changes in the sidebar, and revise affected sections with verified references to the new law.

Public Sector: You’re drafting a formal administrative decision. Each section of the reasoning needs proper legislative citations — you verify each one is current as you draft, without switching applications.

Judges: You’re preparing a judicial decision and need to cite multiple provisions and court decisions accurately. You verify each reference in real time as you draft your reasoning.
