Searching court decisions
Use any combination of the following filters:
1. Keyword Search the content or subject of decisions.
2. ECLI Find a decision by its European Case Law Identifier.
3. IČS or case identifier Search using the Slovak IČS, a case file number, or another available case identifier.
4. Legislation Find decisions that cite a particular law, regulation, or other legal instrument.
5. Paragraph or section Narrow results to decisions that refer to a specific paragraph, article, section, or provision.
6. Court Filter by court or court type, including supreme, constitutional, regional, and EU courts where available.
7. Date Limit results to decisions issued within a defined date range.
8. Legal principle Keep the useful existing filter for decisions that contain a stated legal principle.
References between decisions
A decision detail can show incoming references from other decisions. Praktik distinguishes a direct reference, where the cited decision can be identified reliably, from an ambiguous reference that may match more than one decision. Related references can be grouped so you can review the reference group and resolve the context instead of treating every mention as an equally certain link.
Court decision detail
1. Full decision text Read the complete decision, not only an AI-generated extract.
2. Direct source link Open the official source linked to the decision and go to the relevant cited location when that source supports it.
3. References to legislation and decisions Review cited laws, provisions, and other decisions, then follow their links to the related source or legislation detail.
4. Annulment warning A prominent warning identifies a decision that has been annulled or partially annulled. The warning links to the decision that annulled it, so you can check the later procedural outcome.
5. Proceeding timeline Generate an AI-created timeline of the proceeding, with references to the source lines from which Praktik drew each event. Treat the timeline as a research aid and verify it against the full decision and linked sources.
6. Decision summary Generate a separate AI-created summary of the decision. It includes source-line references, but it is not a substitute for reading and verifying the full decision.
